    Leading with Energy: Creating Positive Work Environments that Inspire Collaboration and Success

    Managers and executives feel they are constantly overwhelmed by too many responsibilities; they are constantly fighting fires and fixing problems, they are frustrated with team challenges and in the end they feel they are caught in the middle of having to keep their direct reports and their boss happy.

    A different and compelling way to look at seemingly negative environments is to better understand how tendencies, beliefs and perceptions that have been adopted over the years unconsciously guide decisions and actions and drive an organization’s success (or lack thereof).

    With this awareness, individuals can learn to re-create their ideal image of themselves and their role so that their energy works for them rather than against them. The result is improved performance for the individual and the organization overall.

    In this session you will:

    • Understand how positive and negative thoughts create situations that prevent effective collaboration and teamwork;
    • Understand how negative and positive energy affects professional and personal dynamics, and organizational success; and,
    • Understand how empowering questions can help staff improve their energy level and develop new leadership skills.
